As part of the eMove360 ° Europe 2021 international trade fair for mobility 4.0 electrically-networked-autonomous (November 16 to 18), the winners of the 19th MATERIALICA Design + Technology Award were announced yesterday evening in the forum of the fair in Munich. The jury of experts selected the most innovative and sustainable products and projects as the finalists for this prestigious award. It is the only one in the world to be positioned at the interface between design, technology and materials.

“It was again a great pleasure to have a virtual discussion with my jury colleagues about the consistently high quality entries. The award-winning submissions address, on the one hand, solutions for sustainable mobility, and, on the other hand, also, in general, the careful use of resources. As a trade fair that is committed to sustainability, we are thus sending an important signal, ”emphasizes Robert Metzger, Managing Director of MunichExpo GmbH and organizer of the award.

These are the winners: The Gold Award in the MATERIAL category goes to ContiTech MGW GmbH for its line systems made of thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), whose two-layer structure made of extruded TPE and a textile reinforcement made of thermoplastic yarn is manufactured in a fully integrated extrusion process.
