1月3日宣布,由瓦伦西亚地区政府的创新、大学和科学部资助、由Aimplas塑料技术中心(西班牙瓦伦西亚)实施的VETERIA21项目,将为热塑性复合材料开发新的、更有效的转化工艺,以改善其性能,使其能够取代电动汽车(EV)电池外壳中的金属。该项目确定了政府的目标,即在2021年与企业合作,在智能专业化的框架内开展创新项目。

Aimplas说,这个项目的结果将减少电池重量,从而减少电池消耗,同时提供一个基于循环经济标准的可持续解决方案,如可回收性。目前,锂离子电池模块由不锈钢和铝制成,占车辆重量的20-30%。
