JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Indonesia Food & Beverage Expo, a trend exhibition organized by PT Wahana Kemalaniaga Makmur (WAKENI), dedicated to providing end-to-end solutions for the food and beverage industry, will be held from 18 to 21 May 2022. Originally scheduled to run from March 23 to 26, 2022, in the new later stage, the show will continue to drive the growth of the Indonesian food industry, bringing a more favorable time for businesses.
WAKENI's top priority is the safety and well-being of all exhibitors, visitors, partners and other interested parties. In addition, the decision to hold the exhibition at a later date was warranted due to the heightened levels of Community Movement Restriction Enforcement (PPKM) following a surge in infections of the covid-19 Omicron variant.
Indonesian food and beverages are held at the same exhibition - Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. The exhibition also has IISM and Indonesia Cold Chain Expo as sub-events. As the oldest exhibition in the cold chain industry in the country, IISM will continue to enhance Indonesia's strength in the food processing and food cold chain industry. In addition, Coffee & Tea Expo, Organic Food Expo, Confectionery & Snacks Expo, and Wine, Spirits & Gourmet Festival will also enhance Food & Beverage Indonesia 2022 to complete food industry products under one roof.
Hopes to ease borders and restrictions on international travel are also being considered for the Indonesia Food and Beverage Expo, which is planned to be held at a later date in conjunction with IISM and Indonesia Cold Chain Expo, bringing more dynamism and confidence to the food and beverage industry.
