APATEQ is one of the global market leaders for scrub water treatment systems reducing vessel’s emissions. APATEQ provides green and cost-efficient one-stop water and wastewater treatment solutions for selected markets. 

Developed for the maritime industry, APATEQ’s water treatment unit MarinePaq treats wastewater arising from the purification of large vessel’s exhaust gas cleaning (so-called scrub water). Besides land-based solutions, which meet the most stringent effluent direct discharge limits, on-board versions are offered, producing an effluent in accordance with IMO wash water guidelines MEPC 184(59). Several plants are already in use, proving their reliability to customers from day 1 after commissioning.
