美国西部光学眼镜展是美国最专业的国际眼镜展，历届规模、参展商和专业观众、买家都不断递增，是国际眼镜行业高端技术交流的盛会；也是世界各地的参展商与专业买家发展贸易的盛会；更是企业提升自我，抢占国际市场的盛会。展览会将展示国际眼镜行业最高端的技术，最超前的概念化设计，最优秀的产品以及未来的流行趋势。
我国凡参加过展览会的历届专业人士均感收获颇丰，加快了赶超世界先进水平的步伐，获得了许多国际间合作的商机。去年美国西部光学展总共吸引了超过450多家世界各地的参展商参展，参展面积达到160500平方英尺。与此同时，与会者达到30,000人，其中66%来自美国西部，13%来自国外。在对与会者的满意度调查报告中显示：80%的与会者表示非常满意；18%的与会者表示基本满意，2%的与会者表示不是很满意。此外，在对与会者对产品的兴趣度调查中显示：镜架占首位，其次分别是太阳镜、镜盒、附件以及专卖店用品等。
